Stephanie dreams of being on a big stage before a massive crowd singing songs she wrote. However, rising to fame is no easy task and takes time. Stephanie though, is not patient and flies to Nashville on her college break hoping to land more than open mic nights.
By chance, Stephanie meets Hank Peterson, a top charting artist. He is in need of a backup vocalist. After watching her perform, he offers her a chance at her dream, but it means leaving everything behind.
Soon Stephanie is part of Hank's tour and learning what it truly means to be a singer: the glory, the press, and the downfalls.
